welcome to the first edition of our BHTC Blog.
On Monday July 29 we saw a new committee elected. David Rogers remains as President and Simon Verbeek steps into the role of Vice President. Kim Trengove remains in her role as Secretary. Bernie Friedrich and our club coach Alexei Demaijo stay on the committee. Joining the committee for the first time is Russell Fairlie, Ray Rust and Rod Petrie.
We would like to thank Ben Bullock, Hugh Hayes, Haydn Wright, Alan Heffernan, Jake Holah, Rhys Horvil and Rodney Jarvis who are departing the committee for their time they have served the club as committee members.
Life Membership

The club congratulates Rodney Jarvis on his induction as a "Life Member" of BHTC. Rodney has served on the committee for 12 years. He has been instrumental in building up a thriving night tennis program and many of us members were drawn to the club in some way through or by Rodney.
Pennant Finals
One of our Section 7 Pennant teams played their semi final last weekend. They were washed out at the completion of their singles, locked at 2 rubbers each, heading into the deciding doubles. This will be played next weekend at Holy Saviour Tennis Club, Vermont, at 12:30. Get on down to support our boys and cheer them on to victory.
Membership Fees
The AGM passed that the membership fees for the 2013/14 year will be as set out below. Invoices will be out very soon. Please make sure you pay these by the due date to assist us develop and run your club.
